30th June 2008 Just a reminder that Gemma has now finished training for the next few months. Classes will now run from 7.30- 9.30pm on Wednesdays only. We are taking on no new clients!

9th June 2008 Well lucky you lot! We have arranged a fantastic weekend of training in October 2008 for you all. We have invited the lovely Tasha Wise and Toni Dawkins along for a weekend of training. Have a peek here for the info. Also Gemma was recently asked to write an article on training contacts for the Agility Voice. Have a look here to read it!

27th May 2008 Well all continues to go well with the dogs :) Boo has now managed to get a semis day for Olympia although as it's July 2nd I am not sure how big the bump will be! Also Hoaxey has now had a total of six clear rounds in competition! Four jumping clears of which she has won all of them! Also two agility clears which I ran as 'training rounds'. She is getting on so well! The wins obviously put her firmly into G4 now, so from Rugby Weekend show- Hoax will be running in G4 :)

11th March 2008 Crufts and Training! Well Scrambles Coulsdon Team (who Gemma ran for) did very well. They had three clears and five faults in the semis. The standard, however was so high this year, that it wasn't enough to get through to the finals. But all the dogs did extremely well! 30th January 2008 Well, Gemma and Nic are off to Devon Dogs this weekend to teach all Sunday. We are also starting prep for the show season for you all. If there is anything specific you would like work on just pop us an email and we will try to arrange a session on that for you.

3rd January 2008 We now have a date for our Rematch with Upandover. The day is 24th Feb PM and will be at their venue- Catherston Stud. More details here!

We are provisionally booked for a rematch with Upandover on their turf for the 24th Feb 2008. Keep this in your diary!

12th November Write up from Yvette on the JUMP DAY!

6th November We have all been kindly invited to a Xmas show at Scrambles Dog Training Club. It will be a fun Agility Day followed by warmth and wine at the fantastic local pub. Hope you can join us! The schedule is available here.

5th November WE WIN AGAIN! Yaaay! Well done all of you, we win the match against Upandover yet again! The joint effort of us and Millennium Agility Dogs, secured us the title against the formidable Andover team for the second year running. We hope to hold a rematch February time. Watch this space!

11th July A Calendar page has been added to the site so you can easily see when training is on or cancelled and any other relevant dates e.g. training days etc. We will also add 121s and private lessons to here.

21st June Wow, Tobie has now had her second win in Grade 2 jumping with her boxer Lily putting her just one jumping or Agility win away from Novice (Grade 3)! Go Tobes x

20th June We have the go ahead on the Match now! The schedule etc are all downloadable from here. Download: MATCH SCHEDULE, MATCH ENTRY FORM by clicking on them. They will download in pdf format. We also have an info sheet which can by downloaded here: MATCH INFORMATION. The whole bundle is downloadable in a zipped format from here: Match Zipped! If you cant download the files you may need to download Adobe Reader or ask Gemma at club for a copy of the forms etc.

19th June We have booked the date for the interclub rematch in conjunction with MAD and vs Upandover. The date will be 4th November 2007 and will be held at the MAD venue. The schedule and entry form will be available on this page, soon . We also have the date for the fantastic yearly fun competition that is held just for Thatcham DTC & MAD members. This will be held on the 25th November- the schedule etc will also be available here soon.

15th June DOG THEFTS IN BERKSHIRE!!! There have been a spate of dog thefts in this area recently. PLEASE be aware and make sure your dogs are secure and not promoted. Joy Stanbrook from our agility group has been advised and is advising friends to take down any 'beware of the dog' or 'Border Collies live here' signs. For more info on the BBC News site click here.

14th June Well there has been some updates to the site so have a flick through the pages. We also have booked another training day for you all on the 27th July 2007. Amanda Pigg will be coming over and we will be running a puppy session (dogs around 14 mths) and a competing session. Please contact Gemma to book your spot.

19th March Congratulations to you all in the match you were fantastic! I am pleased to say that we won the match overall! Thanks to UpAndover for arranging a fantastic day and to all of you for turning up! We will add the results on here as soon as Karen sends them to me.

13th January and we're back at training. Yay! Good to see you all. Anyway we have a match booked with UpAndover Agility on the 18th March 2007. It will be held at their venue Catherston Stud and should offer about two runs per dog. Please let me know asap if you can make it!

David Munnings Training Day As you all know, we are hosting a David Munnings Training day on the 21st January 2007. The day is fully booked but it's always worth naming as a reserve, people do drop out! We will be pubbing it at lunch, so please let me know if you would like a spot at the table. We are taking your payments for the training now so please send me a cheque to cover your space.

Corton Ltd show (Sunday 26th November). Who was there? Gemma & Boo, Nic & Kaos/ Linx, Martyn & Ben, Yvette & Skate, Kerry & Gem, Margaret & Jess, Sue & Oz.

Well done to: Yvette & Skate on a lovely clear round that would have been with the top times if he hadn't veered off to the weaves. Nic & Kaos on a fast clear in the steeplechase. Sue & Oz on a couple of good clear rounds and my own Boo on winning the Steeplechase and the Jumping!

Interclub Match Sunday 10^th December 2006. Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary, Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell, Oxon   OX10 0SW (on the A1430 between Didcot & Wallingford)

Each handler entered below gets two runs; one Agility and one Jumping class, formally judged with rosettes in each class. ALL runs (however bad!!!) gain points and contribute towards the team total.  The cost includes tea, coffee and buffet nibbles at the pub afterwards.

Time: 11:00am - 4:30pm very approx.

Cost:   £5 per handler, covering both runs (Ag/Jmp)

Xmas party/ games night!

Don't forget, the last week before Xmas break is the 20th Dec. This is on us so isn't counted as part of your course. We will have nibbles, drinks and lots of games for the woofs so please come along. Pre Agility and the Beginners group are at 6.30- 7.30pm the the Starter/ Novice & Novice/ Seniors are at 7.30pm- 9pmish. We will have lists up at training so you can write your name next to what food you would like to bring. Any ideas for competitions/ games let Gemma know and we will try to use them!

MAD/ Thatcham DTC Fun Competition

Well what a day we had. Great fun and some massive cheering going on, especially for the knockout at the end of the show! The rosettes arranged by Heather were FABULOUS! Huge thanks to Steve Patterson & Yvette Curtis for judging and Yvette for arranging TONS & TONS!!!
